Hello, my name is Ethan Lenahan and I'm a second-semester Freshman up here at UNR. I am currently majoring in IS right now with a minor in I-Have-No-Idea. I eventually want to use my degree to get a government job because of all the benefits that come with it.
I am the oldest of four siblings which can be annoying at times. I am born and raised in Las Vegas with my parents, my three siblings, and my dog. I went to Durango High School where I played varsity baseball and finished with a 3.76 GPA. I was never really of fan of High School because it was never that fun to me, as college is actually fun.
In my spare time I'm usually on Hulu, at the library, or at the computer lab experimenting with Logic as I love music. My life is kind of revolved around music. If you see me outside of the classroom, you will probably see me listening to music. I've gone through a lot of tough times in my life and music has always been there to help me through it. I also workout at the fitness, whatever it's called, place everyday.
When I get older I hope to land an IT job or some kind of data analysis one. I feel like an computer related career is what the future will lean towards. I've always been intrigued by computers and how much they can do. I even taught myself how to code in HTML and it was very difficult, but fun.
Coming from Vegas, I'm used to the heat for a majority of the year. Since coming to Reno I've grown to like the cold and be more appreciative of the colder weather. I've never had experience living in it, but so far I am loving it. I've gone snowboarding a lot sine being up here and I really enjoy it.
