This past summer I went on a trip to Australia for two and a half weeks with my roommates. We surfed and traveled all around the gold coast of Australia. We meet up with some of my moms close family friends that welcomed us with open arms. While on the gold coast we went spearfishing along the river mouth that was populated with tons of small fish and stingray. It was only after hours of wading deep into the soft gooey mud that Dina (moms friend) shares that a ton of bull shark attacks have been happening around the river mouths. Often bull sharks will wait in deep crevasses and hunt when there is motion by the surface. So we slowly waded out of the mud and called it a day.
One of my hobbies that I like is skateboarding I have been skateboarding for about 8 years. When I was 10 years old my dad built a half pipe for me in my back yard. I would often save money all winter and go to Element skate camp. The camp was in the Sequoya national forest tucked deep into the wilderness bordered by a crystal blue lake. During the day we would skate and at might we would sit around the fire and do small group skits. The camp lasted one full week and was always the fastest week of my year. The last time I went I won third place in the U12 competition and received a free skateboard deck.
Another hobby of mine is Lacrosse, I played lacrosse at Reno High for three years and won the 2017 state championship my junior year, I had the opportunity to walk onto the Lacrosse team but I wasn't able to put it together to play this spring. I hope I have an opportunity in the future to play for the university!
In the summer I love to go to lake Tahoe. I don't have a boat so I spend a lot of time in north lake Tahoe over at sand harbor to cliff jump and kings beach to listen to live music and have frozen bananas.
So you caught my attention with the Rhode Island red chickens thing, that made me laugh but also stingrays are my favorite and i'm jealous. Australia sounds super cool.
