Hi, my name is Cassandra Panagopoulos but most people call me Cassy for short. I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. My birthday is July 8th. I have two other siblings and of course, I am the middle child. I also have 2 dogs, Coco, and Bourbon. I am currently a freshman at the University of Nevada, Reno. I am a pre-business major. One of my future goals is to open up a little cafe or Diner.

When I was younger I was super shy, but once 5th grade rolled around I got into theatre. This really pushed me to break out of my shell and helped me realize one of my passions. Later on in the year, I got accepted into the performing arts middle school, KO Knudson where I majored in theatre. I was in theatre until the end of high school since then I took a theatre class here at the university. My favorite show I performed was a musical, Godspell, and we got to create apart of the script. This play inspired me to never doubt myself because it was a cast of 5 guys and 5 girls and I was chosen to pursue the role of Telly.

Theatre was not the only thing I loved to do. My freshman year I went to a school where I knew nobody. I pushed myself to do as much as possible my first year. I was in Batteries Included, Best Buddies, Improv, Honor Choir, Student Council, Theatre, and Cheer. As the years went on the list of clubs got shorter and I ended up just focusing on theatre and student council.

The more involved I got the more people I got to talk to. I was always known as a talkative, outgoing, and energetic person. I also break out into music, I must think I live in a musical. I love being the center of attention and meeting everyone possible. One of my goals is to make someone smile every day and just to spread positivity.

Another one of my passions in life is to travel. When I was 13, I went on a trip with an organization called People to People and traveled 20 days through Italy, France, and Spain. I loved Spain because I got to do a homestay with a local family. I also loved Italy because I got to repeal off of a 100-foot castle wall. I hope that I can go to  New Zealand to repeal off of there 500-foot castle if you would like to join me on this expiration just let me know! I just recently went on my first cruise during winter break to the Bahamas. I love traveling because you learn about history, try the amazing food, you embrace different cultures, and meet so many interesting people.

Now that you know a little bit about myself let me tell you some of my favorite things. I love the color yellow because it is so bright and just reminds me of happiness!  My favorite food is a gyro and I may be biased because I am Greek, but don't knock it tell you to try it. I love the fall season because it is so beautiful and the colors are just so welcoming. As much as I wish social media didn’t exist I am also obsessed with Pinterest and Instagram! I just love planning things and being inspired.  I also enjoy watching Youtubers like David Dobrick, Shane Dawson, Nate Garner, and so many others. I will let you in on a little secret I actually had not one but two youtube accounts before, I would love to do it again! The last thing I will tell you is I love romantic comedies. As cliche as this may sound I think it is because I like to think of myself as a hopeless romantic in a hookup society.
