Introduction: Rochelle Mokiao

Hello I'm Rochelle from the 10am section. I'm usually not a fan of talking about myself but I need these points. I'm from Las Vegas, but originally I came from Hawaii off the beautiful island of Oahu which is such a shame that I ended up moving to Vegas because I hated it there, I miss all my family that live back on the island and the weather that was near perfect compared to the desert. I have too many siblings to count and the majority of them dislike me anyway because they think I'm rude. But regardless of all that I still love my family very much and I wouldn't trade them for the world, except my brother I'd trade him in a heartbeat. I also have a dog that's a miniature pit bull, she's only about 2 years old. Her name is Kalena and I absolutely love her, even-though people mistaken her for a boy because she is very muscular for a dog.

I graduated from Centennial High School where I also played volley ball for 3 years. Most of the time I'm the student that sits in the front main reason being that I can't see from the back because I almost always forget my glasses. I'm very soft-spoken and will say little to nothing if I don't have to. I enjoy going out and just being with friends. I also like to draw, no I'm not good at it I just find it to be a great stress reliever especially if I have a ton of homework. If I'm not in class I'm probably at the gym, just kidding I'll be in my bed binge watching "Full House" reminiscing in times when I would wake up before going to elementary school just to catch the early morning episodes on Nickelodeon.

Currently I'm a first year student here at UNR working towards getting a bachelors degree in psychology. From there I hope to do another 4 years of school in efforts of getting my medical degree. Later along the lines I plan on working to be a forensic psychiatrist. Forensic Psychiatry is a specialized branch within psychiatry that deals with assessing and treating mentally disordered offenders in prisons, secure hospitals and as well as in the community. However, if I later realize this is not what I want to do my plan B is to become an anesthesiologist.

My favorite type of food is Mexican food because you just can't go wrong with some tacos or a burrito. But I do prefer authentic Mexican restaurants because I think the food taste a lot fresher in a way. However Taco Bell is also fine with me. Back in Vegas my friends and I would love to go to Cafe Rio after school because they have the best burritos I've ever had. Sadly the nearest Cafe Rio to here is one in the next town over, so every time I'm back in town that's the first place my mom and I will go to.
