Blog 2

Since, I live at home and away from all the fast food restaurants, I usually go out and get groceries. Here I'm going to explain what planning I go through to buy items on a budget.

1. I buy all my groceries in bulk which last around a full week or two.

2. I plan out what I will be cooking throughout the week. This correlates with no. 1 because if my meals aren't a lot in calories depending on what I make, usually food can last about an extra week which helps with saving time and money.

3. I stick to my grocery list and not go off buying other items. For example other sweets or junk food

4. As unhealthy as this sounds, I sometimes buy microwavable food just because it quick and most of the time super cheap.

5. One of the biggest things I go buy which really helps bring the price down when I'm grocery shopping is when there's multiple brands of the same item. I tend to just buy the cheapest since they are mainly all the same and it saves a lot of money.
