Introduction: Victor Belen

Hello Everyone, my name is Victor Belen and  am a freshman here at UNR. I am a secondary education and math major hoping to become a high school math teacher sometime in the near future. I am currently living in the dorms here on campus. It is nice living on campus because all my classes are not too far away.
Another thing about me is that I am a triplet. I have two sisters who also go here with me. They happen to live in the same dorm as me and they live right across the hall from me. The funny thing is that they are both education majors too. Luckily they are doing different subjects as math because that would be weird if we were all majoring in the same exact thing. It may seem weird to have siblings at college with you but honestly it is so helpful. We are always helping each other. Another thing is that it is nice to have family around.
Enough about college and family, let me tell you about some of my hobbies. Outside of school, i like to ride BMX bikes. I have been riding BMX for almost ten years now. It is literally the only athletic activity I do. I have never really been into team sports which is why I ride bikes. When I ride, I have the freedom to do whatever I want and with my friends. I am lucky to have one of my best friends from back home who goes to UNR who I have been riding with for many years. We are always going around and riding different skateparks when we have free time.
Another hobby of mine is building and working on cars. I have been into cars ever since I was a little kid. Once I was able to drive, I got one of my dream cars and I have been modifying if for years now. Cars are what I like to waste my money on and I would do it any other way. This is a hobby that I will never get old to me.
Now that I explained about the fun stuff, I want to talk about where I am from. I was born in Holmdel, New Jersey, and I lived there for the first ten years of my life. Then I moved to Henderson Nevada which is where I have been living up until I came here to the university. As much as I like this University, I am going to move back home after this semester and go to UNLV for the rest of my schooling. I know UNR is way better but I just rather be home with my friends, family and my girlfriend.
I hope to finish my four years at UNLV and get right into teaching. After i get used to teaching and get comfortable with everything, I plan on furthering my education to getting my masters degree. But for now it is still really early in my education and I need to take things one step at a time.
