Introduction : Zachary Rundell

Hey everyone, my name is Zachary, but I go by Zach. I grew up in Las Vegas, moved up to Carson City when I was 8, and have been there right up until I moved into the dorms for college. I'm a little bit into astrology and tarot readings, and my rising, sun, and moon signs are Pisces, Cancer, and Aquarius. One of my favorite past times is reading, but playing video games is really high up there, and I've recently been playing Bloodborne through with my boyfriend. Going along with listing the rest of my favorite things, EDM and house are my favorite music genres, and I've been going to raves and clubs and finding new friends and couldn't be happier because of it.

This is my second semester in college (third if you count Summer) and I didn't really take school seriously, however I plan on changing that this semester for the better. I'm super excited to see how far I can go with my academics, including writing about food for the next few weeks. Speaking of foods, my favorite all time food has got to be tamales, I don't think I can ever get sick of them! I also love soda and juice, or basically any flavored drinks! This semester with English is going to be interesting if I have to think about my food all the time.

Sports have never been a big part of my life, although for a time I did do baseball and soccer before giving them up due to lack of interest. Now I like to focus on art, drawing, painting, sketches, whether it's on paper or online. I also love coding, and want to code video games in the future for my career. I'm not entirely sure if I want to try and pursue that path here at UNR though, just based on the classes required for me to major or even minor in any sort of field related to it.

My family has largely encouraged me going to UNR, even though they all tell me how expensive it is, they're all proud of me for going to university. I hope to see my younger siblings do something similar, and in fact my sister Rachel is doing the Jumpstart program at WNC to get her associate's degree at the same time she gets her high school diploma. Guess that means we're gonna graduate around the same time, which is super cool. My parents got divorced around the same time I moved up to Carson, and now at my Mom's house I live with her, my two biological sisters Rachel and Alyssa, my Mom, and my Grandma and Grandpa. My dad met someone new, and I have the privilege of calling her my step mom, her name is Brandy and when she came into my life, she brought three more siblings, Joe, Sara, and Jake.

That, in affect, simplifies my life down to the basics, family, interests, school, and some past. If you actually read through all of this, hope you like the short summary of my life.
