Hello my name is Jesus Alamilla, and I am born and raised in Reno, Nevada. My family on the other hand, is from Mexico City also known as El Distrito Federal and Spain. Our family is very big in numbers and always have get togethers at my grandmas on Sunday's and almost seems like a tradition. Anyways during our get togethers we have a range of Mexican foods and Spanish food for example: tamales, pambazos, chiles rellenos, and sopes (all Mexican foods) on my Dad's side of the family when we visit Spain we eat: paella, gambas al ajillo, tapas, and croquettes. Enough about me, today I will be interviewing my friend Alexis Palma, who himself and his family members come from a Mexican background.

Question: Were there any certain food that you ate during special occasions?
Answers:" Yeah mostly during Thanksgiving or Christmas we would make a ton of Tamales and we would just eat until we could breath or get up."

Question: What is your favorite dish?
Answers:"I don't really have a favorite dish. I guess it all depends on the season for example in the summer I like more fresh food like salmon, sushi and in the winter some thing a bit more warming like baked potato, steak, or chili."

Question: What food did you grow up eating?
Answer:"Growing up I mostly ate Mexican food. For like breakfast we would have like omelets, and lunch i would just eat at the cafeteria what ever was there. For dinner I would eat some sort of a Mexican tradition dish like barbacoa, tacos, but never a burrito because thats not really one of my personal favorites."

Question: What do you prefer to eat the most Mexican or American food?
Answer:"Honestly if i had to choose between Mexican and American food I would say Mexican just cause i feel like its a-lot more fresh and doesn't involve any processed foods. If you were thirsty you could Agua de Horchata or Agua de Cebada which taste better and less sugary than soda. My other favorite food from Mexico is Sopa de Tortilla which is one that i make often when I feel like it."
