- Learn proper portion size- you can buy in bulk and then portion out your meals, it will cost less than getting small bags of the same stuff and you will get more out of it if you portion it correctly
- Keep healthy snacks around- I love to snack on things but snacks are usually the unhealthiest thing that im eating threw out the day, instead you can get healthier versions of your favorite snacks or just have a completely new healthy snack.
- Grilled or baked foods- Getting something grilled or baked instead of fried is definitely more healthy because you’re not ingesting all of that extra oil and fat.
- Cooking at home- If you live in a place with a stove and a fridge, cooking at home will save you money and it’s usually healthier because you won’t be using foods with preservatives and you can limit how much salt, sugar, and fats that end up in your meal.
- Limiting snacking- I know that I just gave a tip on how to snack healthier but limiting how often you snack throughout the day will also save you money and be healthier for you in the long run
