Introduction: Amayah Jackson

Hi everyone my name is Amayah Jackson, I have quite a few nicknames I go by such as Maya, My-my, Or Ms. Jackson, I'll keep the more embarrassing ones to myself. I was born and raised in Lancaster, Palmdale California, I moved to Las Vegas my freshman year of high school, it wasn't that difficult of a move friends wise because I didn't have many so its was a fun new start. I graduated from Sierra Vista high school (the real sv) and started college here in Reno. UNR was not my first choice, I really wanted to go to University of  Washington, Seattle but they didn't really want me which is sort funny, but UNR is also far from home and has an extremely beautiful campus so it was a win. I am currently majoring in education and minoring in psychology, I say currently because I could possibly change my mind because that happens. What I decided to major or minor in it'll all be based around children, I don't know why but I’d love to work with kids, maybe because I have a lot of younger relatives maybe. On another note, I love listening to music and singing, even though that's something I do when I'm alone or in the shower. I don't like to limit myself to any specific genre of music because I happen to fall in love with anything that I find pleasing to the ears. I am quite the One Direction fan, I have been for about 7 years and counting, many might find that "gross" but that is fine with me. The first concert I've been to was a One Direction concert and so was the second one. I am also a huge fan of Rihanna and Beyonce, I like to call them my empowering women duo. I love food I've been eating it for about 19 years, I think I am addicted but that's OK. My favorite dish is a hard subject but I really love to eat my moms Alfredo pasta sometimes with chicken and other times with sausage and maybe times with both. I am in a relationship with this guy I know named Chris, he is a pretty cool guy, sometimes he kinda gets on my nerves but it’s fun to have him around. In all serious he is my best friend but it's hard to call him that because when I get mad at him I can’t go to him with my frustrations but yea you get the point. Now onto the weird parts about me, I am blind in my left eye, usually when I tell people this I'm asked to close my right eye, cover it, and guess how many fingers the person is holding up, it is sorta annoying but whatever I can do to prove it I guess. I am a sibling to about...9 to 10 children,my mom and my step dad(who I call dad, but to save anyone from confusion we’ll stick to step dad) have two, my step dad has one with another lady, My dad has four with one lady and two with another, out of all of them I am the second oldest.
