Hi! I'm Crisjoe Tamesis I go by Crissy. I'm from Manila, Philippines and I came to Reno, Nevada about eight years ago! When I was at the Philippines I looked forward to snow, however it was only fun when I was 10 and a few years later I've realized it is the most prettiest thing yet the deadliest. I think I might move somewhere where it doesn't snow when I'm older. This year is my freshman year, I've always wanted to be a doctor I just didn't know what kind of doctor then I realized how awesome the brain was so I'm majoring in neuroscience and minoring in psychology, hoping to get into med school once I graduate.
So some things about me, I'm a family person. I adore my family most of the time when they aren't too crazy. My parents are pretty cool though they are still strict, but my siblings and I can talk to them about anything. My siblings, I think they are the cutest things even if sometimes they are the source of my frustration. I'm the oldest out of three, I have a brother who is only a 11 months younger than me who is practically my twin. We look very much alike, we both love and play basketball, and we were both born in August; he is on the 5th and I'm on the 8th(Yup, 11 MONTHS he was my 1st birthday gift). My sister is the cutest she's two years younger than me and she also plays basketball, we often argue, but at the end of it, she's the person I tell everything to. People who sometimes have never met my siblings will know they're my siblings because they look so much like me and I know siblings are suppose to look alike, but our similarities are crazy. It's like my face was just placed into two other bodies, but I don't mind this at all because then people will know that we're all siblings plus I love saying that they're just copies of me because I was the first one.
Sports is the only thing I was talented in while everyone else was musically or artistically gifted or both I was just athletic. I loved p.e. and the different sports that we got to play such as field hockey, lacrosse, and basketball. As I've mentioned before I love basketball, I've been playing since I was 11. During my senior year I played and I was point guard. I played volleyball as well and I had the best time. It was my first and last year playing high school sports and I had the best time. We were excused from class to go to games and sometimes our games was somewhere far and I made friends with people I never talked to! Senior year was probably my best year in high school it was a blast!
My favorite thing in the whole world other than school, family, and sports is eating. I absolutely love eating! My favorite food is chicken. Fried chicken, lime chicken, all types of chicken basically. When I found out that the theme this semester was food I was overjoyed, I love eating and now it's going to be incorporated into one of my classes.
Now in college, everything is more fun, but high school was small and you knew everyone it was very comforting compared to college it's so big and overwhelming.
