Introduction: Andrew Na
Supp. I'm Andrew and I'm currently a freshman at UNR majoring in Kinesiology.
I was born in Seoul, South Korea, moved to Bellevue, WA in 2005, and down here to Reno in 2012. When I first moved here from Washington, everything was new for me, and I started middle school right in the middle of the year in 7th grade, not knowing anyone, the campus, nothing. So unfortunately, I turned to eating and video games as my sense of comfort. Years passed and by freshman year of high school, I've made a group of friends, but my health was at its poorest. That's where I turned to fitness instead of video games, and since then, I've enjoyed everything about it. Not only did it help me get healthier, but it's given me a new passion, which is why I decided to major in Kinesiology. My end goal is to be a personal trainer of some sort, or anything really in the fitness industry, because at the end of the day, it comes down to what I love to do. Depsite it being as cheesy as it is, I would not like to be doing something I don't enjoy for the rest of my life.
Some things I enjoy doing in my free time are lifting, boxing, watching spongebob, hanging out with friends, and driving. I recently started getting into boxing and I've been enjoying it a lot, especially because I can let out all my stress and clear up my head if lifting doesn't do the job. Although it might seem odd, driving and crusing around with friends help calm me down and I enjoy driving in general. My "passion" for driving and cars started when I started watching the Fast and Furious movies, and really took off when I got my lisence.
I've only had two jobs before, one as a Sales and Services Associate at Les Schwab, which was a lot of just manual labor, and Cashier at The Home Depot. I'm still working part-time at Home Depot, but I worked at Les Schwab full-time during the fall semester of 2018 to make some extra money. So I'm a semester behind everyone but I plan on making up the credits over summer and winter breaks. The primary reason why I started working was for the experience, but now it's turned into money, cause who doesn't love money hello?
I love anything and everything that has to do with eating. I'll eat most things, but my favorite thing to eat is either a burger or some chicken. My top restaurants in Reno are In-n-Out, Five Guys, Cane's, Anna's Mexican Grill, and most sushi places. I've been trying to watch what I eat, because I'd like to stay in shape, but here and there, I'll eat something tasty that's not the best, because I'm not preparing for a show or competing in a sport. My biggest eating accomplishment was when I was dummy thicc, and I used to be able to eat a Triple Whopper meal, large soda large fries, and 20 chicken nuggets. But every great thing must come to an end, and I'm no longer capable of accomplishing such an amazing feat. This paragraph was so I met the 500-word count. Thanks for tuning in :)
