Hello everyone, my name is Pamela DeLa Riva, I am born and raised here in Reno, NV. I really love this city and don’t plan on leaving it anytime soon. If I were to ever move states, I’d probably move to Oregon. I am currently a freshman who is hoping to major in Pre-Nursing. As of right now, I am looking forward to becoming a Neonatal Nurse later on in life. I really didn’t know what I wanted to study for until my senior year of high school. I put the things I like together and looked for jobs that involved those things. Since I want to work and the medical field and love working with babies, I thought being a neonatal nurse would be the best option. Although I am still not 100% sure about it.

My family is my everything, and I’d do anything to make them happy. My parents and sisters are all friendly and love helping people out. My parents and sisters are such a great support system and always help me out no matter the situation. I have 2 sisters, one of them being Martha my older sister who will be graduating May 2019 here at UNR  with her Bachelors in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology , and a younger one named Stephanie who is still in high school and doesn’t know what she wants to study for. Out of my 2 sisters, I’m closer to my older one. Probably because we go to school together and have most things in common. And apparently we look like twins and our voices even sound the same. I also have 2 dogs, 1 male named Royce (Short one) and 1 female named Lexie ( Bigger one). Royce is more like my dad’s dog and Lexie is my dog. They both love food and will steal the food off someone’s plate when they have the chance to.

I included Music in my mood board because it is something that plays an important role in my life. I can literally listen to music 24/7 if I had the chance to. Sadly, I don’t.  I listen to music when I’m cleaning, showering, doing homework, driving, or doing other things that allows me to listen to it. I am always in the mood for music, even when I’m sad I listen to it. I really don't have a favorite type though, I like listening to all types of music.All music types are unique.

I also included Shrimp Alfredo in my mood board because it’s my favorite type of food. I like eating my pasta with Tabasco. People think it's weird but I think it’s the best combination. I can literally eat it every day. My favorite place to eat it is at Olive Garden. Whenever I have the chance to go out and eat, I always pick that place. Their pasta and breadsticks are the best! I’ve tried the shrimp alfredo at other restaurants, but I think they’re not as good as Olive Garden’s.
