Introduction: Jonathon Ellis

Hey everyone, my names Jonathon Ellis but most people just call me Jon! Im originally from Las Vegas, Nevada and I've never been happier to be away from home. My major last semester was environmental science, but I quickly found out that it wasn't for me, so I switched my major this semester to Business and Marketing because I'm a pretty materialistic kind of guy and I need more money in my future. My goal is to get my bachelors degree in Marketing and hopefully go on to promoting and one day owning, my own music festival, which would be the ultimate dream.
Back home, I have a family that consists of 2 half sisters, along with my father, mother and stepmother. My ethnicity is African American and Japanese; a pretty weird/unusual mix is what I've gotten from some. My father is from Chicago, while my mother is from Tokyo, Japan. I am a first generation college student in my family, so theres a lot of pressure on my shoulders, but I cant wait to be the first one in my family to come out with a degree. My mother is my biggest inspiration to me and she's always pushing me academically to be the best I can possibly be.
My number one favorite hobby/interest is that I love to skateboard. Back home, me and some friends would stay out all day filming each other, trying to get clips so that we can post a skateboard edit on Instragram for everyone to see. I find that whenever Im in a bad state of mind, I can always rely on skateboarding as some sort of stress reliever. Another thing that interests me almost as much as skateboarding is producing music. In my free time, I enjoy producing beats on my music program, and also collaborating with people who potentially want to use my beats for their own use. Im the roommate thats always going to be blasting music on the speaker 24/7 while everyone else is trying to sleep.
Since we are talking about food a lot this semester, I'd like to mention my all time favorite food, McDonalds chicken nuggets. Now wait, I know what you're thinking, "that is the worst possible food that anyone could consume". Despite from what they are made out of, and the general problems associated with Mcdonalds food in general, can we all agree that a nugget with sweet n sour sauce is the most savory junk food of all time? They also offer the 20 nuggets for like $5, which is something you just can't beat.
