Hello, my name is
Andrew Cunningham. I’m a student at the University of Nevada, Reno and my major
is Electrical Engineering. Currently I am just going through the motions in
those classes and trying to better myself by working on my own personal
projects like my electric bike.
I’m originally from
Las Vegas, born and raised. I chose to come to UNR for college because it is
still close to home but far enough away for me to be on my own. I really enjoy
the space and freedom.
I continued to play in
the marching band here, I play the trombone, as I have for the last 4 years and
really enjoy it. I have made many good friends that I enjoy spending time with.
We also started our own dungeons and dragons’ group that meets every Sunday
night that we play for 4+ hours.
I also play other
games or just hang out with friends. My friends and I play boardgames
occasionally and some times we play a card game called Magic: the gathering. Other
times we will watch movies or shows and play games such as smash bros ultimate
on our projector in our dorm.
I work on personal
projects that vary depending on my ideas at the time. I built my own 3d printer
that I use for prototyping my designs and usually wind up with a working
project. The two thing I liked the most are my electric bicycle and my large
portable charger (284Wh if that means anything to you).
My favorite food would
be a good New York style pizza, (there is a good place in Vegas but I haven’t found
one here yet). I live on campus and don’t have much money (currently looking
for a job) so I usually just stick with the whatever the DC has or get
something from the joe, along with the rare canes trip.
That's so cool that you created a 3d printer yourself! Do you use is for personal use or is it just something you wanted to create?
